Aarohi Arts Association is an affiliated centre of Pracheen Kala Kendra (PKK), Chandigarh — one of India’s oldest examination bodies (est. 1956, 3,800+ centres). Our online students can pursue the same certified ladder as our Kolkata students.
Pracheen Kala Kendra (our board)
- Ladder: PP-1 → Visharad (6 yrs) → Bhaskar (7th yr).
- Recognition: the Supreme Court of India has held Sangeet Visharad equivalent to a graduate degree and Sangeet Bhaskar to a post-graduate degree. Recognised by universities, boards and state governments.
- Exams: annual (Dec/Jan) and bi-annual (Aug/Sep) sessions. Overseas centres in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, UAE, Kuwait, South Africa, Mauritius and Malaysia — many students can sit exams near home. Overseas-student registration forms available; ask us.
ABGMV Mandal (online exam supplement)
- For students far from any physical centre: ABGMVM’s International Online Exam Centre (IOEC) runs fully online practical + theory exams (April/May and Nov/Dec) — exam from your living room.
- Ladder: Prarambhik → Visharad → Alankar; Visharad widely accepted as graduate-equivalent.

Which board should my child take?
If a PKK overseas centre is near you, PKK (strongest formal recognition). If not, ABGMV online. Your teacher will advise at the trial.
